Summary of Google Adsense
In a nutshell, Google Adsense is a pay per click revenue method that targets a web site's page and site content.
Code is inserted on those pages where ads are to run. The owner has some control over the way that the ads are displayed and can exclude certain advertisers. Otherwise, Google determines using its algorithms which ads appear on a site's pages.
The site owner is payed for each click. What advertisers are prepared to pay for keywords will determine how much Google pays for particular clicks.
This is sophisticated contextual advertising and it seems to be giving content sites a new lease of life.
